Bio
DP & The First Cut is a blues/soul/pop band from Philadelphia. Their energetic arrangements and instrumentation is a potent blend of John Mayer, Clapton, Lawrence and Allen Stone.
The foursome have headlined the TLA, World Cafe Live Upstairs & Downstairs, Ardmore Music Hall, Milkboy and more in Philly; Rockwood Music Hall in NYC; Hard Rock Cafe Philly, Pittsburg, and Los Angeles (the old Hollywood Blvd venue) and have toured the East coast & Canada.
At the band̢۪s core is singer/songwriter/bassist Dave Patten, guitarist Niko Orehowsky, Keyboardist Sean Patten, and drummer Joe Hatcher.
