Bio
Dangerously Biased is an alternative rock duo from Hays, KS. Matt Isley and Sophi Thompson play bass guitar and drums, respectively, sharing vocal duties for most songs. The group performs original songs based on personal experience (or if Matt thinks it’d sound great for the intro of a hit anime series). Hook-laced riffs, quick-tongued verses, and driving choruses describe their style. Their sound can be compared to that of Death From Above, Royal Blood, or The White Stripes, though also pulling certain influence from Audioslave, Twenty One Pilots, and Cage The Elephant. The two have had an array of musical experience on and off the stage. Both have been in previous bands and Matt is the founder and lead organizer of Rockalooa Music Festival in Hays, KS (rockhays.com). They formed in late 2017 and have focused performing in the central Kansas area. All of their coolest content can be found at dangerouslybiased.com and on their Facebook & Instagram pages.
