Special shout out to Gerry Trevino, Lie For Fun, Damaged Savage, and High Sierra Club for their performance last night. It all started with Gerry Trevino keeping up the threshold of his musicianship. When he said to the crowd, "You know what to do.", I thought he wanted me to start a mosh-pit that Oscar from being a former member of A Real King, Matt from TRVLRS giving me the look to fuck shit up, and Duke from Damaged Savage got into mosh-pit! Gerry's performance was the only priority yesterday, but I decided to stay. Even though my mission was done. I suddenly had 2 stars into watching Lie For Fun giving a fun vibe with their songs, and they had a 2 step going with Duke. The concert was still wanted at 2 stars with Damage Savaged kicking things into gear. I noticed Duke leading the performance his range as a vocalist with his personality giving it much of a definition and characteristic to his voice. Damaged Savage is a Punk / Metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed by Kurtis Gierer and Duke Palakiko on May 31, 2017. The two have created music together for almost two decades and in 2019, the band added its newest member, Alejandro Gomez. The trio bring everything from head-banging Metal to label-less, fast, gritty Punk Rock to the table. Often compared to bands Such as The Misfits, A.F.I. and The Offspring. Written in Blood, their first full album, was released in September 2018, which was recorded, mixed and mastered by Kurtis Gierer and Duke Palakiko. First Friday at Union House Las Vegas VFW 8680, California Damaged Savage is honored to have their music music played on radio stations, nationally and internationally. Smile Radio (UK) Church of Punk Rock (Radio Vegas Rocks)(USA) Punk Détente (Canada).
On May 7th the band raised money via live stream for Four Square Las Vegas. Raising enough my money to provide 420 meals to people in need.
On May 16th 2020, they released "Ch 1: I am N U L L", the Ep containing four of their newest titles.
Music videos have also been released for two songs on the album, "A.D.D." and "N U L L". Damaged Savage is no frills, dark-heavy music.
