"Crush Atlantic "Sunrise" [Single Premiere]"

Crush Atlantic is an American electronic pop group. After releasing their amazing and catchy first single “Keep This Night Alive” in 2011, and after the departure of one of their members James Park, the trio now reconverted in duo formed by Waffle Boy & Hot Wheels (aka Chris Lamore and Chris Jones) are back to the music scene with their new single entitled “Sunrise“.
The song is like a youthful anthem, following the line of the more overwhelming commercial pop, the guys are ready to conquer the American market. Easy and catchy, the song will have you hooked from the first listen. The track will be included on their upcoming debut EP to be released later this year. - Josep Vinaixa

"Turn It Up: End-Of-Summer Crush"

The last time I checked in on Crush Atlantic, the Washington, D.C. duo had covered Justin Bieber’s “Beauty And A Beat” and were prepping the summer release of their debut EP.
But with tomorrow marking the official end of summer, Chris Jones and Chris Lamore now say to expect that EP this fall. Still, Crush Atlantic haven’t completely left us high and dry, debuting the first single, “Sunrise,” a blast of straight-up pop produced by Dan Book and Alexei Misoul (Hot Chelle Rae).
Take a look and listen to “Sunrise” below. It’s also a good time to ask why Crush Atlantic is still unsigned. - Popservations

"Hot New Pop Alert: Watch Crush Atlantic 'Sunrise'"

Frequent readers of this blog may remember that I first introduced you to Washington DC electro pop outfit Crush Atlantic late last year when I blogged about their fantastic debut single, "Keep This Night Alive." Since then, the group of Christopher Lamore and Chris Jones have transformed into a duo, and have continued to fine-tune their sound and record new music.

The long wait for Crush Atlantic's new music officially ends today with the unveiling of their excellent new single "Sunrise" on YouTube just moments ago. It's a hyper-catchy pop romp about a hot and happening dancefloor romance that has the potential to last into the wee hours of the morning (and perhaps even beyond.) "I just want to make your heart race all night. Nothing more than a feeling, but it feels right," Lamore sings. "It's the right night, the right time, the right light."

"Sunrise" was written by Crush Atlantic and produced by Dan Book and Alexei Misoul of Misty Hill Music who previously collaborated on hit tracks by chart darlings Hot Chelle Rae. "Sunrise" was mixed to perfection by Mike Roberts who recently has worked on tracks for Neon Hitch, 3OH!3 and Taio Cruz.

The track is taken from Crush Atlantic forthcoming and much-anticipated new EP that will be released in the next few weeks. "This is one of our favorite tracks on the EP," the group writes me. "We spent a month going back and forth to make the chorus perfect."

The group also explains that they were eager to get Mike Robert's help with the EP and they decided to reach out to him via Twitter. "We messaged him saying we loved his work and asked if he could mix our stuff and he was down. Pretty cool, because otherwise we'd never have such great mixes."

Crush Atlantic is still unsigned and are looking to partner with a label to help bring their music to a wider audience. With a radio-ready sound that packs plenty of pop, it truly should only be a matter of time before these two hit the big time and storm up the charts. No doubt about it. - Arjan Writes

"Cover Story: Crush Atlantic covers Justin Bieber"

To date, I’ve done my best not to bother with Justin Bieber. Of course, achieving a total Biebs Blackout is impossible if you spend any time on the Interweb. Thus, I am aware that Mr. Selena Gomez has a new album out, Believe, and that some consider “Beauty And A Beat,” which features Nicki Minaj, one of the set’s highlights.

Doing some minor research, I wasn’t surprised that “Beauty And A Beat” has been singled out for praise, since it was co-written and produced by pop genius Max Martin with on the rise electro-house talent, Zedd.

Recently Washington, D.C.-based electropop duo Crush Atlantic recorded a cover of “Beauty And A Beat” during a day off in New York City. Chris Jones and Chris Lamore have certainly cooked up something special here, plus you gotta love guys who clean up after themselves once they’re done playing around.

Crush Atlantic is currently prepping their debut EP for a summer release. Their single, “Keep This Night Alive,” released last October, is available now via iTunes. - Popservations

We've had our songs butchered in the past but this is pretty dope and the video is hilarious... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grX0gE2NTiY&hd=1 - Travie McCoy

"[FRESH NEW] Crush Atlantic "Keep This Night Alive""

Washington DC's emerging pop sensation Crush Atlantic shows that the good pop doesn't have to come from pop capitals like London, Stockholm, New York or Los Angeles. Pop lives everywhere and Crush Atlantic is solid proof of that. The group is made up of James Park, Chris Jones and Chris Lamore who all are from the DC area.

Check out Crush Atlantic's flaming new "Keep This Night Alive" to hear what these talented three are all about. The song was produced by the very savvy Dan Book and Alexei Misoul of Misty Hill Music together with Andrew Goldstein. Book and Misoul sure know how to produce a solid hit. They just finished up working with chart-toppers Hot Chelle Rae for whom they wrote six tracks that are included on the group's forthcoming new album.

Crush Atlantic is all about making feel-good pop. "Basically we just want to create music that makes people feel awesome when they hear it," the group's Chris Lamore writes me. "We watch people shameless dance to the radio in their cars and we aspire to make the songs they're jamming to. It's too easy to get down in this world and we just want to make people feel good with our music."

"I don't think there is any better feeling in the world than cranking your new favorite song on repeat and feeling that music high," Lamore adds.

Crush Atlantic's radio-ready "Keep This Night Alive" is a perfect example of that straight up musical vision. The song perfectly captures the steady pop goodness that the trio is all about. This unstoppable ditty combines instantly-catchy power-pop hooks with high-grade, polished production stylings that has hit, hit, hit written all over it.

Quite frankly, "Keep This Night Alive" is one of those top-notch pop tracks that is too irresistible to be denied. So "flip that switch," download the MP3 and "move your body right." I know you'll want to. - Arjan Writes
