Bio
Darnell "Jaye Pharaoh” Black (25) and Tramaine "Cool Sade” Black (23) are brothers who complete the Hip Hop duo "Creative Minds". Facing adversities growing up in Compton, California, Pharaoh and Sade turned to music as the main Avenue to not only stay out of trouble in the streets but voice their opinions in a positive manner. Pharaoh taught himself how to produce beats and engineer in High School at the age of Fourteen and has not stopped since. After dropping their first mixtape and performing at a couple of local venues, Pharaoh enrolled into Los Angeles Film School to augmented his craft and skill set and apply it to their music. After years of preparation Pharaoh and Sade finally feel as though their music is not just a copy of other popular artists on the radio and is not a bunch of word repeating lyrics, but is a style of their own with a message behind it, and is ready for the world to consume. Their music is influenced by some of their favorite artist which include Outkast, A Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Jay Z, and Kanye West just to name a few.
