In 2011, three individuals scattered throughout Chester County Pennsylvania banded together and became known as 'Couple Days'. What initially started as a musical experiment for a fundraiser continues to this day. Over the years they have managed to develop a style of their own that could be described as having shallow Americana roots.
The band consists of two singer/songwriters, James Brant and Russell Mann, whose distinctive writing styles are unified by the percussive upright bass playing of Mike Scott. This percussive bass playing coupled with contrasting vocal harmonies are what will lure you into their musical world. Their first album, a 6 song EP called Pretty Good, the EP was released in August 2011. This release was followed up by their self released debut full length album, Couple Days, Pretty Good, in June of 2014.
