Cost of Attrition (COA) is a pop rock duo from the Indianapolis, Indiana area that delivers fun, upbeat music appealing to all flavors of listener. From melodic beat driven anthems to fast paced, memorable rock, COA mixes genres while holding true to what makes their sound their own.
Inspiration from Steely Dan, Jethro Tull, and Michael Jackson are easily identified throughout the prominent pop lyrics and powerful vocal performances delivered by lead vocalist Wheeler Castaneda. Instrumentals, written and performed by Joshua Grow, draw their inspiration from pop rock groups such as Cartel, Fallout Boy, and Weezer.
Recently COA has released their first E.P. titled “There You Go” (April), a reference to the title track, and are currently writing and recording their first full-length studio album titled “Fighting For Frequencies” which is slated for release in October of 2016.
Cost of Attrition has landed supporting roles for major national acts such as The Spill Canvas and Unwritten Law and typically perform 50 to 100 events a year ranging from bars and all ages venues to charitable events and major festivals.
