Coffin Slide is a metal-infused hardcore punk band formed in Charleston, South Carolina in 2019. The band’s musical style draws from 1980’s punk to heavy hardcore of the 90’s and the metalcore of the 2000’s. Scott Baldino, who goes by stage name Scotty Slide, is the band’s vocalist and bass player draws his experience from the burgeoning 1990’s metal scene in Cleveland, Ohio as the guitar player from the skate punk band Steaming Feces and the front man for the legendary crossover hardcore band Blatant Disregard. Hard-hitting Drummer, Sean McKenzie has played in various punk and hardcore projects in Columbia and Charleston South Carolina including the two-piece band Slinkslinger. Sean notably draws influence from the percussive stylings of Robo, Bill Stevenson and Bill Ward. The exceptionally talented Nick Ikonomidis plays lead guitar and owns the role with his epic solos, sweep picking and intricate fills. Nick is a graduate of the Recording Arts program at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL and also aspires to be a professional audio engineer.
