Bio
Founded by lead vocalist and pianist CJ Anderson, Coffee Black is a retro funk and soul band based in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Their genuine sound is driven by the rhythm section of Damyon Jolley, Matt Pettie, Michael Rogers and Angelo Sandoval. The Black EP, a solo project released by CJ Anderson in 2017, laid the foundation for Coffee Black's sound. Since then, they have touring the Southeast, spreading their infectious grooves, and now set to release their first album Fall 2019. Coffee Black is destined to revive the soul of the shoals.
