Bio
Chris Aguayo Band brings a new twist to singer/songwriter/rock with a funky edge. The band is comprised of Chris Aguayo (guitar, vocals), Kevin Weaver (bass, vocals), and Aaron Richman (drums). Coming together in mid-2016, they have played live music bars/clubs all over the Lehigh Valley and New Jersey. In April 2017 they were featured on WFMZ Music Monday.
Chris and Kevin met in 2012 at Moravian College where they were studying music. Aaron and Chris go back a little further to their high school days when they played shows together in different bands. In 2015, Chris started playing out in the area in solo setting and also with a bunch of different musicians through 2016. By June 2016, Chris had played with Kevin and Aaron a few times already and they decided to continue playing together to write new music and build a full sound as a trio. From The Funhouse in Bethlehem to The Gin Mill in Northampton, Chris Aguayo Band has frequented the area consistently.
Chris Aguayo Band's single, "We Won't Take This Anymore" was released on YouTube in December 2017. A new album is in the works for 2018 as well.
