Cherekia Renee

Cherekia (pronounced "Sha-Ree-Ka") Renee’ officially hit the music scene in 2016 with her first single, "Waiting". The self-written declaration garnered accolades across the country. She returns with her new single, "Jesus Made a Way", which has already reached the masses. 

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Cherekia Renee' gives you that contemporary gospel sound, but still stands firm on her traditional roots. Cherekia Renee' grew up surrounded by gospel music. Under the leadership of her grandfather, Bishop Carruth Hall, Sr., her time growing up in the Greater St. Paul COGIC were spent participating in the youth choir, dancing with the youth praise dancers, the youth praise and worship team and later advancing to the adult choir.

Since childhood, Cherekia Renee' has blossomed into her own. She has performed in the hit stage play “Better, Not Bitter”, where she was able to minister songs she wrote. She is currently an active member of Christian Embassy Worship Center (Henderson, NV), where she serves and exercises her gift as one of the praise and worship leaders. Not only that, but she has been tapped to lead worship at Free Believers Church in Las Vegas. 

Cherekia has had to pleasure of sharing the same platform as Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee, Anthony Williams (B. Slade), Amber Bullock, Tasha Page-Lockhart, Alexis Speight, and countless others. Not only does Cherekia Renee' sing, but she is an amazing event host. She has hosted many events, including various events during Stellar Award weekend.
