An eclectic repertoire, from Jazz and The Great American Songbook to vintage pop songs with a jazz sensibility reveals Carolyn Lee Jones as a vibrant vocal stylist. Since launching her music career in 2008, she has released three CD's that garnered excellent reviews on the independent label Catn'round Sound all recorded in NYC and Dallas.
In addition to her regular jazz shows she performs intimate themed cabaret shows including " Pardon My Southern Accent & Too Marvelous For Words" (music of Johnny Mercer) "Up Close and Personal' (the art of the duo) "Songs From My Mother's Piano Bench" and many others.
Home based in Dallas, TX Carolyn works her craft at numerous public venues, charity events, weddings, corporate & private events and has performed at a variety of New York City Cabarets. Her band of stellar musicians work seamlessly together as a musical team.
PERSONAL NOTE
Originally from Nebraska one day a while back she hopped on a bus and came to Dallas!
Carolyn Lee Jones's first profession was a successful buyer for luxury retail stores (based in Dallas) traveling the world. Event planning and marketing were important components of her past experience which she now brings to her music business.
