Bio
Born and raised in the Metro Detroit area, Artist Crystal Shanea aka C’nea is very passionate about making music. She first fell in love with making music in 5th grade when she joined her schools band program. She continued music throughout her high school career while also playing in her schools drum line.
Growing up, Crystal Shanea was influenced by 90’s R&B music listening to various R&B artists such as: Kelly Price, Faith Evans, Mary J Blige, Jodeci, R.Kelly, Keith Sweat, Aaron hall and many others.
Today Crystal Shanea writes what she calls “Real Life Music” this type of music allows fans to explore the life experiences of rapper C’nea through the words of her music. As a woman of faith, she believes that everything in life is in Gods will. Through hard work and dedication Crystal Shanea is passionate about being a positive influence to not only the youth, but also the entire world.
