Breakaway State is a Punk Rock band from Los Angeles. The band started on the premise of returning to the original roots of punk music, stripping away all unnecessary clutter and ego-driven nonsense. The result of this, is an aggressive, driving, rhythmic, hook-laden sound. Influences include early U.K. and American punk, yet this band has a very original and fresh sound.
