(New Exclusive Interview) Hip Hop Artist Brash Da Brilliant Talks Music With Imperial Hustle Magazine
1. How long have you been doing music?
I started doing music when I was 9 years old, I took violin lessons just to learn how to play the pink panther song !
2. What made you start doing music?
I actually started rapping in 2013 I went back home to cali and my friends took me to a backyard boogie party, there was about 200 people there. There was a few mc’s performing but they weren’t really moving the crowd. So the DJ said we just going to play instrumentals. My friends convinced me to go grab the mic and freestyle. I freestyled off the top of my head for 5 beats straight after I was done I received an overwhelming applause from everyone at the backyard party the feeling was ecstasy.
3. What makes you different from the other artist within the music industry?
I use my God given talent for good and to inspire others to be brilliant and reach there fullest potential it’s unlimited
4. Are you looking to get a record deal or stay independent?
I’ll stay independent until the major labels are looking negotiate with me beneficially, I’m very diplomatic.
5. Break down the concept behind “Sapiosexual” and how did the record come about?
A Sapiosexual is defined as a behavior attracted or aroused by intelligence. When I heard the instrumental the hook immediately came to me it giving an uplifting trance feel.
6. What made you put Prejon on the record and what do you feel he brings different to the record?
Prejon has one of the most unique singing voices I’ve ever heard, I knew after writing the hook that I needed an excellent singer to execute it and he did just that and we even got to hear him rap as well my bro went in!
7. Where do you see your brand and career in the next 5 years?
Internationally known for rocking the Microphone, actor, model multiple business owner. - Kareem Williams
Brash Da Brilliant is bringing the heat in a very different way. With mumble rap taking over the chart, we sometimes forget about the heavy spitter in the marketplace.
With this being said, Brash Da Brilliant has dropped a new record called “Sapiosexual” featuring Prejon, to let us know what it is really hitting for. This record will have the ladies going crazy and the guys saying “This Kid Can Spit For Real.” its not often that we see the two all in one track.

Win Team is also determined to make their way into other charts, building up their social media presence in hopes of the Billboard Trending 140.
For now the team is focused on what's right in front of them. Increasing audio and video streams of their latest single and building relationships with their fans. Their team has already gained over 10K subscribers to their mailing list through their deal with Forbes Music Entertainment. They have jumped up to over 4K monthly listeners on Spotify and over 21K worldwide streams across multiple digital music services online.

Brash Da Brilliant is an Arizona artist that is really taking this music thing serious and looks to build a long lasting career, doing what he loves. Tariq Jamal Martinez aka Brash Da Brilliant was born on a military base in Yokosuka, Japan by Veteran parents in the Navy. He spent his childhood adolescents growing up in Southern California. At age 9 he began playing violin and writing poetry. His uncle introduced him to rap music and although it was not permitted in his parents household he would find himself sneaking it in just to listen to the pioneers. Ironically, this led to fueling his desire to become a MC after a backyard boogie in California Brash freestyled in front of a hundreds of people over instrumentals and received a standing ovation, which led to the realization he should pursue music as a career
On Dec 26, 2013 "Eff a 9-5" mixtape dropped. The mixtape landed him placement on the airwaves his Single "Do What It Duz" was on the stations Hot 102 Jamz, The Zone 88.1 FM, And Wild 98. In 2015 he created a company with his good friend "Pop Soul" called Win Team Entertainment They use generous acts of kindness being involved in the community feeding the homeless, and speaking to troubled youth while using their music to inspire the worlds thinking. In 2017 Win Team's single "Tadada" graced the airwaves in five radio stations in California NBC KCAA 106.5fm 102.3fm 1050 am and 92.5 FM. Brash Da Brilliant's single and music video "Weight of The World" received television exposure Fox 10 xtra and MY 45.Jan 2019 Sapiosexual has accomplished over 100k plays in less than two months. Brash Da Brilliant Made in Japan, Born 2 Win and loves to rip a stage with a mic in hand.
