The track doesn't waste any time in getting right into the meat of things. The riffs create a whirlwind atmosphere before the first verse bursts in and steadies the pace. There's an early Glassjaw/Secret Lives of the Freemasons/Letlive/early 2000s Post Hardcore feel to the melodies and aggression. The rollercoaster of emotion and passion pour out with the up and down nature of the tone of the track. The chorus is catchy, dancy and shows quite the vocal range. The breakdown and subsequent guitar solo after the three minute mark showcases their talents perfectly as the chorus joins in to wrap things up with a tight, polished bow.
Verdict:
Black Box Recovery aims to entice the listener with its contagious grooves and Post Hardcore melodies. - From The Depths Entertainment
