Bio
Born and raised on the Jersey Shore, Bert L'z began rapping and recording music in high school, after graduation he along with his cousin J Riff and his friend Caspa formed the group DJB (Dem Jerzey Boyz) and recorded together for a few years before he relocated to NYC and began his journey as a solo artist. He is heavily inspired by old school 90's hip hop in particular Big L and Big Pun. He actively performs throughout the city on subway platforms, open mics, and at bars and clubs. Ready to rhyme anytime anyplace he is a true emcee. Very soon he will be dropping his debut solo album titled "Feel Free" and the world will see that real hip hop is alive and well and that this kid from Jersey is the genuine article.
