Barry Oosterhouse is an experienced drummer currently playing for the band Area 49 out of Spartanburg County, SC. The band currently has 8 released tracks on most streaming platforms and also specializes in 90s rock and alternative cover tracks. The band is currently writing new music to be recorded and heading your way soon!
Barry is known for formerly playing with bands such as the Zach Tisdale Band (Country), Church Drummer, Silenced Addict (Metal), and the Funk Muffins (Funk).
Barry currently plays:
4 piece Pacific Drums Mexican maple kit custom wrapped with a custom wrap from bumwrapdrumco. Saluda Cymbals (multiple styles) 14in HH, 14, 16, 16, 18, 18in crashes, and a 20in ride.
DW bass pedal and DW HH pedal with various cymbal stands.

Barry is a hard working husband and father of 3, with a Bachelors degree in Global Business Management working as a Plasma Consultant during the week and playing music on most weekends.
US Navy Veteran (Aviation Electrician PO 3rd class). When he's not playing you can find him at a camp ground enjoying nature.
