B$Greene

In the past 30 plus years Hip-Hop has accumulated a mass following globally.  However, every dream isn’t lived or achieved.  Born Brandon Greene professionally known as “B$Greene” aka B. Money his dream is far from being lived.

Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama; B$Greene was always influenced by music.  At the age of 5, B. Money picks up his first instrument, a snare drum.  B$Greene was blessed to grow up in a two parent home in the middle-class area of town.  At the age of 9, he started listening to rap music.  He was listening to “I Miss My Homies” by Master P featuring UGK, B$Greene wrote his first rhyme and recorded it with his cousins on a tape recorder.  While attending Dunbar School of Creative and Performing Arts, B. Money played the saxophone until his senior year of high school.  As a young teen, B$Greene was heavily influenced by rap and began to write rhymes and making beats.  His influences for making beats were such producers as: Timberland, Mannie Fresh, The Neptunes, Polo Da Don, and Jazzy Pha.  At the age of 18, B$Greene started collaborating with his neighbor Jeff Jones aka “LJeffy” and put together the underground classic “Paper Chasin’”.  By the age of 21, B. Money reunited with his longtime friend Quinton Steen and formed the group the King Afffiliates.  In 2009, B$Greene relocated to Atlanta to pursue a bachelors degree in Audio Production at the Art Institute of Atlanta.  He also relocated to Atlanta to achieve his dream of becoming a rapper/producer and establishing his own label Upscale Misfits, LLC. B$Greene formed a business partnership with Quinton Steen. The vision for the Upscale Misfits is simply this--we don’t fit in, we stand out.  With views on both fashion and music, Upsacle strives to make new standards for everyday artist.While in Atlanta, B$Greene came into contact with producer Steven Mincy aka Chxldz and collaborated on his debut EP “The Green Lights EP”. With underground hits under his belt such as: “Starlight”and “#Winning”featuring @ct!on (Action), B$Greene is well on his way to be a mainstream success.  B$Greene is at the top of his game and epitomizes what a self-made rapper/producer should be.  Never give up on your dreams because if so you may never live it.
