Producer AstroShaman has made quite a name for himself in recent years, his deep heavy bass coupled with quick high-hat and snare fills and soothing chords has made him a stand out from other more traditional vapor wave artists. As a self-proclaimed “shoe wave” producer, AstroShaman continues to expand his sound and branch out from the norm cross blending elements of trap, vapor wave, and smooth jazz into his works. Though he claims his main influences are Groundislava, Shlohmo, and J Dilla, he explained in a recent interview with Liquified, “I can never sit with 1 genre for long before moving on to the next.”
