Bio
Arend Lee Jessurun is a singer-songwriter, folk balladeer, and music producer. Arend began playing his grandfather’s clarinet in the fifth grade, and soon graduated to his uncle’s hand-me-down guitar in the sixth grade. As an adolescent, he pored over his parents’ record collection, where he discovered the music of Bob Dylan and Neil Young. He would later be influenced by jazz, church hymnody, Romantic-era art song, and the poetry of Robert Frost. Arend produces his own and others’ music.
