Antoine JaQuard
Hampton, VA | Established. Jan 01, 2017
Bio
It’s in his genes. Born into an already musical family, Antoine JaQuard (whose birth name is Antoine JaQuard-Angle Dodson) has been electrifying audiences worldwide with his unique and passionate performances since the age of 4. These performances have taken him from The Apollo Theatre in New York (his segment helped “It’s Showtime at the Apollo” to be nominated for an NAACP image award), to The Jenny Jones Show in Chicago and back home to Virginia at the Ferguson Center for the Performing Arts and the Hampton Coliseum.
Blessed
with a four-octave range and the ability to capture an audience, Antoine has
received praise and accolades from some of the biggest names in the music
industry including Patti LaBelle, with whom he has shared the stage on numerous
occasions. Studying briefly at the Berklee College of Music in Boston afforded him
the opportunity to co-headline a concert at the Berklee Performance Center,
which has drawn the likes of Quincy Jones and many other legendary artists.
With the release of a new single (“Crazy Love”) and the start of a new LLC production company (Rock-N-Soul productions), he prepares to take his career to new heights. His new music, which he calls Rock-N-Soul, is what he hopes to be the catalyst of a new musical movement. “I sing to people. That’s people of all color, races, religions, and whatever other differences you can think of, because when I’m onstage we’re all there to have a great time. I sing to inspire, to lift people up and bring them together. That’s what music is really all about. So who’s ready to get lifted?” Introducing…Antoine JaQuard
