Chicago based singer/songwriter Angie Campbell brings a heartfelt musical encounter everywhere she goes. All she needs is an acoustic guitar to take her audience with her into a place of sharing life and love in song that will not soon be forgotten. Writing poetry since she was a child turned into songwriting, which is a now full-blown passion of creating music that people can relate to and will come away from changed .
Performing solo, and with her acoustic band Angie Squared, at local Chicago venues such as Fitzgerald's, World of Beer, The Harp and Fiddle, and Uncommon Grounds--she captivates, uplifts, and entertains with original and cover music.
She was recently a featured guest on National Public Radio’s show “Midwest Beat” with host Tom Lounges.
She has also recently released her latest acoustic project, Places of The Heart, available on Soundcloud and CD.
She also has a rock and roll side, singing lead vocals for two Chicago based classic rock cover bands, with her favorite covers being Evanescence and Journey.
She is a drummer as well, having played in several bands with various genres of music, from rock and roll, blues, country, pop, and smooth jazz.
