Toronto's Amanda Spvde (pronounced spade) is a singer/songwriter with a love and passion for both R & B and pop vibes. Starting a the early age of two, her musical talent has grown and continued to entertain and enlighten people everywhere. Working on her first EP, she has recently released her first single, "Overwhelmed" an uplifting, intimate vibe and powerful R & B/Pop single. The melancholic single features a driving hip-hop beat with an intimate vocal performance. Her recent performances include singing at the Rivoli, the Revival, the Mod Club, the Sound Academy and the Fuse in downtown Toronto. As well, Amanda has performed at the Joey Conte Foundation for the Sick Kids Gala, Herbie Day at the Yonge-Dundas Square, the national anthems for the Toronto Marlies Hockey game. Amanda was first runner up at the 2012 CNE Rising Star competition where she performed at the CNE bandstand in Toronto in front of a crowd of 2000 people. In addition, she also won the Vaughan Rave Award for Rising Star. Also, she had the honour to perform at Honeyjam in Toronto for two years in a row. Other performances include International Youth Day, Markham's got talent, Toronto Pop Idol, Hidden Talent competition, Talent Nation, City of Vaughan Earth Day and CPPS Mission Projects Benefit Gala, held at the Atlantis just to name a few.
