Altruistic is a band comprised of musicians from very different walks of life. Its members hail from New York and Connecticut, and combine the musical styles of Latin, Contemporary, Fusion, and Straight ahead Jazz with Funk, R&B and Gospel rhythms.
Led by Al Thomas, the group consists of the following members:

Pat Williams Guitar/Vocals
Chris Stanley Drums
Donnell Roberts Bass
John Davis Keyboards
The band collectively has numerous years of experience, and has played venues all over the Eastern Seaboard. Members of the band have played with and/or opened for artists such as: Najee, Marion Meadows, Branford Marsalis, Alex Bugnon, Pieces of a Dream, Dave Valentine to name just a few.
