Bio
Airean Josiah aka AJ Boogie out of Fresno, CA, is a 15-year-old recording artist. He is an actor, singer,
rapper, and dancer. He has a great passion for dance and has been dancing since he was 6 years old,
training with some of the best choreographers in the entertainment industry. Working in the
entertainment industry, AJ has been on numerous commercial, music, and television sets. One of AJ’s
most notable appearances on television was showcasing his dance talent on the Ellen Degeneres Show
(Season 15, Episode 160). Another notable appearance on television was dancing with the winning
group, The Lab, on World of Dance hosted by Derek Hough, Jennifer Lopez, and Ne-Yo. AJ was also most
recently casted on the movies The Santa Clauses and Miracles Across 125 th Street.
Dance is definitely where he shines and was how his boss and mentor Nick Cannon discovered him
through the Nickelodeon set LipSync Battle Shorties at the age of 10. Nick brought AJ and 4 other
talented singers, dancers, and rappers together to form a group called Pop Money, signed under
Republic Records. Their music is out on all major streaming platforms. Most notable songs include: Boys
Don’t Cry, New Drip, and Another Dimension, which is part of the Spider Verse movie. In 2022-2023 Pop
Money toured the US and performed live with other up and coming artists and groups. In 2024, look out
for Pop Money’s new music and another tour in the works.
When not on tour with Pop Money you can find AJ in LA teaching dance classes, working on his vocals,
at auditions or working on set.
