Milwaukee rapper AG Da Gift released his latest project in November, Long Live Wati, a kinetic set of club clappers. He's currently pushing the single "New Master P," but as much fun as it is hearing him make Master P noises on a track, "No Broke Shit" is my favorite from the album, just because it's the track with the most movement. Got to love that bass. - EVAN RYTLEWSKI

"Breaking and Entering"

Resident Center City producer/rapper AG Da Gift is back with a new single and video, and he comes to you live from the studio with “Had To”. The track knocks with lots bass and some dark keys from producer Jeff Brizzle, and AG adds the bars, talking about the grind that he’s putting in. The performance clip helps sell the track, and while the song talks about putting in the work, AG gets to flex a little bit for the video. The single was part of AG Da Gift’s Target Practice Tuesdays series, so there’s probably more on the way from him as well as the rest of Center City. For now, check out the video below: - Allan Hallas

"Breaking and Entering"

Producer/artist AG Da Gift is ever-expanding his range as a creator, and that includes the first single in a series that he’s calling “Target Practice Tuesdays”, “No Excuses”. The self-produced track features a contrast in styles between the two rappers, but they play well off of one another, with AG coming from the perspective of a young gunner working hard to get to his money, and Duch being more of a proven hustler, which is the truth, as he owns and operates his own company, Everyday Media. It’s only the first in what looks to be a running series from AG Da Gift, and we’ll see where he takes things from here. Check out “No Excuses” below: - Allan Hallas

Being a hustler is not about being street or what you sell, it is more so a mindset. “AG da Gift”(Milwaukee,Wi) represents the hustle of life, his brand represents the people that understand Success is a journey, not a destination, and that nothing is given in life. He believes everybody has hustle in some way shape or form.We all are working and trying to accomplish something on a daily. Whether it is working a 9 to 5, going to school, or being an entrepreneur, etc.

His lyrics are witty and uplifting but edgy over trap drums and soulful instrumentation. His influences are Jay-z, Rick Ross, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole.
