A-MINUS started his rap career talking about many of the standard subjects: the acquisition of material goods, sexual conquests, “haters” and his own bad-ass self. But after a performance at one of the early Hip-Hop Showcases at Lock 3, A-MINUS, had an epiphany and vowed to use his music for the betterment of the community and especially kids.
In the intervening decade or so, A-MINUS has become a fixture playing community festivals, visiting classrooms and organizing youth-centric events. He also has Alien Nation, a “movement” and apparel company designed to help people who feel different from the societal and social norms embrace their individualism. - Akron Beacon Journal

A-MINUS is a hip-hop recording artist from Akron, Ohio who has performed at various venues throughout northeast ohio including The Grog Shop, Skully's, Lock 3 Live, Akron Civic Theatre, Blu Jazz, Musica, Canal Park Stadium, Akron Art Museum & Zimmerman Symphony Center. A-MINUS also has performed at several music festivals including Porch Rokr, Square Fest, Global Village Fest & Big Love Fest. A-MINUS has appeared on "Around Akron with Blue Green which airs on PBS. A-MINUS has had several write ups in the Akron Beacon Journal.
Past Achievements: 91.3FM (The Summit) 1st hip-hop/rap artist played in station history; Collaboration w/ The Canton Symphony Orchestra (Hip-Hop Meets Symphony)
