A-Fos & The Rude Youth is a fresh Rap/Rock/Funk band from London Ontario that is emerging as one of the city’s hottest bands to watch. Their music pulls heavy influence from Funk, Rock, Soul, Pop and Reggae. You can hear all of these influences in their debut release, a 5-song EP called 'Trying To Be Better', and a recently released single ‘John Travolta’ (see: bandcamp.com/afosandtherudeyouth).
The band has had the opportunity to play direct support to notable artists such as SonReal, CAMM Hunter (of Down With Webster), Two Crown King, and The Salads. As well they have had the opportunity to play on bills with notable artists such as StereoKid, KC Roberts & the Live Revolution, My Son The Hurricane, After Funk and Theatre Crisp.
A-Fos & The Rude Youth is a unique band that brings pop hooks together with lyrical candy and infectious grooves. Fans immediately gravitate towards A-Fos’ high energy, crowd interaction driven stage show, but stick around to hear his story and move to the band’s music.
