86 Joon

Hailing from “The Gates,” otherwise known as Pomona, CA, a city in between L.A. and The I.E.,

86Joon is doing what he loves to do – making music & skating. Growing up, Joon was a

sponsored skateboarder but began to transition from skating fulltime to developing his passion

as an artist when he began releasing songs digitally, which were well-received by his city and

peers in the I.E.

His musical influences range from Tupac to Fleetwood Mac to Guns & Roses, which show in his

chameleon-like attitude: "wear what you want and do what you want". This is also the concept

behind his brand, "86". Joon believes that you must rid yourself of what is supposed to be and

create what you want to be. Through music and skating, 86Joon wants to be a leader for his

city. This future mogul wants to be able to give back to the community through investments and

reaching the children.

Joon’s determination is apparent in everything he does. Having fought a heart arrhythmia,

which held him back from skating for some time, led him to dive deeply into his music.

This leadership and determination gives Joon a sense of confidence that comes through faith

and with these tools, he wants to leave a mark on the scene by any means.
