Bio
20 West is a Texas Country band based in Fort Worth, Tx, and was founded by Shawn Fitzgerald and Pete Franco, formerly of Flatline Road, with the intentions of bringing their vision to life through the songs they were writing. Within the first week, they had their first song and first single, Bringing Me Back Home written and recorded. A second song, Just Go Away, was written a day later and also recorded. Then, after seeing what they had created, they decided to form the band itself. The name was decided upon after singer Shawn was driving home from seeing good friend Rachel Stacy. He lived at the time off of I-20 West. He immediately texted Pete that he found the right name for the band. And so it began.
Next, Tyler King, a Nebraska native was added on drums. Tyler brought in good friend and Guitarist Jeremy Russell into the fold. Chadwick Stiles formerly of Flatline Road was added on bass after the release of the ep and is already contributing to the new material the band plans to start recording in Aug. Tyler and Jeremy also are part of Logan Samford's touring band.
The band then started back recording at Tonal Recording Studios with veteran producer Cris Hunter Marshall where the first batch of songs were also recorded.
The band released their second single, Baby Go Crazy worldwide on July 22nd. It spent two weeks on the CDTEX top ten most downloaded songs and is still doing well.
The next, and last batch of songs to round out the upcoming EP Bringing Me Back Home were recorded in January for a June 2nd release.
20 West is entering the studio Aug 24th to begin work on two new eps.
