Brittany Rose snapped up the last spot on the music lineup for Life is Beautiful Festival 2016 after three rounds of competition at Brooklyn Bowl.

Rose was chosen by a panel of judges and a public vote by fans on July 1o.

Rose is accompanied by a band consisting of members Alaina Clark and Kelsey Vansuch (backup vocals), John Lloyd (guitar), Jeremy Elises (bass), Jason Corpuz (keys) and Laron Johnson (drums). Lloyd and Rose have been playing together for six years and with the full band for two.

“The music I write varies between soul and pop, but there is a strong influence of hip hop in our live sets, so we definitely have a hip-hop edge,” Rose says.

Rose has been showcased and featured in LIB competitions for the past three years, since she was 17 years old. “Our music has grown, and we are truly ready to perform on a big stage. I get excited for the Life is Beautiful lineup to come out every year. The festival is such an amazing way to bring together the community and show how much downtown Las Vegas is thriving.”

Rose is looking forward to seeing Jack Garrett and Kehlani at LIB. “Jack Garrett has this magical electronic infused sound and the soul behind his voice is incredible,” she says. “Kehlani brings back that old-school R&B sound, and I can’t wait to see her live again.”

The Life is Beautiful Started in October of 2013 featuring a variety of talented individuals from musicians, chefs, artists and speakers. Held in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, Life is Beautiful attracted more than 100,000 attendees in 2015.

On Sunday July 10, 2016 Brittany Rose took the stage at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas during the final round of The Road to Life is Beautiful Battle of the Bands, mesmerizing the crowd as they were given a round of applause and standing ovation. Following an intense competition against 15 other local bands, where Brittany Rose was selected by judges, fans vote, and obtaining spot on the Life is Beautiful 2016 lineup.

Brittany Rose is a R&B artist who performs smashing hits with an edge of hip hop. Rose has performed across several stages within the Las Vegas circuit with a seven piece band. Brittany will be joining music royalty on the Life is Beautiful stage, such as, Mumford & Sons, J. Cole, Major Lazer, The Lumineers, G-Eazy, Flume, Jane’s Addiction and dozens more.

The Life is Beautiful Music & Arts Festival returns to Downtown Las Vegas on September 23rd through the 25th for a three day event that combines music, art and inspiration.
