Awake:Who your crew, who your tribe
Who the people you would die for
Take a second, what you think that you alive for
Sick of what I seen
it’s given me these eye sores
Darkness all around
I guess that’s what the lights for
John Wayne and ain’t nobody get his high horse
One for growth
Work all day and take the night course
Mind, Body, Spirit,
This is something that I’d die for
Gotta have a thing to live your F&$king life for

I ain’t sitting round here waiting
While the world is changing
I’m wide awake
awoah ohh woah ooh woah
Put me in a box and I guess I’ll write
Drop me on a Hill and I’m gonna climb
I’m wide awake
awoah ohh woah ooh woah

AztroGrizz

When someone mentions the state of Colorado today, a
few things may initially come to mind: The Rocky Mountains. John Denver. South
Park. Skiing.

In 2020, however, that may all change, as we become
acquainted with something even bigger.

Enter AztroGrizz-- the newest funkadelic, alternative gritty hip
hop singing duo out of Denver. AztroGrizz, made up of Jon LeDuc and Sterling
Lamar Lewis joined forces in 2012 to take The Centennial State by storm.

LeDuc and Lewis crossed paths nearly a decade ago
during an encounter so random it’s impossible to be forgotten—at a house party.
Lewis recalls the moment fondly. “Jon was on a mission to go blows with some
guy for talking to his girlfriend at the time. He almost mistook me for that guy, but luckily a mutual friend stopped
Jon just seconds before he started swinging his fists at me… That friend was
really trying to introduce us, because he thought we’d have similar interests
in the music industry. Anyhow, Jon and I met up face-to-face months later,
started recording some tracks together and the rest is really history. Thank
God he didn’t beat me up that night!”

The pair began their musical journey in humble fashion,
writing talent showcases and performing at small venues. Less than a handful of
years later, AztroGrizz evolved into opening for major shows like Sage the
Gemini, Rich Homie Quan, Riff Raff, and Bubba Sparxxx.

During the week you can find LeDuc at the local gymnasium
or on the football field, coaching athletes at Pomona High School or running his
Landscape Construction Business. Lewis, a rep for Comcast, is notorious for
working all over the Denver metro area. On the weekends, however, people can
discover LeDuc and Lewis aka AztroGrizz, doing what they love most—singing at
popular establishments across Colorado.

Their next big move? An eclectic EP, entitled Lit Side of the Earth, dropping in late May
of 2020.

What sets AztroGrizz apart from all the rest of the
music out there?

Their voices were the most intriguing to me. For these
guys, it comes so naturally. They can sing and
rap, which is what’s gonna get them all over the airwaves globally and to
the top of the charts in no time. They’re like a Top 40 crossover group and
honestly, their EP is incredible all around.

LeDuc, when asked to describe the contents of his new EP,
says, “It’s got humor. It’s got introspection. It is very playful, then out of nowhere
drops a hammer of meaning.”

The release of Lit
Side of the Earth
is slated for May of 2020. For additional AztroGrizz tour
