This upcoming fall, Awreezy is coming out with his debut album, Battle. It is about fighting demons and ultimately defeating them. Awreezy tries to express himself in a thoughtful and entertaining way. He mixes hip hop, rock, pop, funk, etc. in this project that encompasses many of the feelings humanity has. Adam travels through his conscience to pick up ideas that will enthrall those who listen.
One song that shows Awreezy's essence in "Cashpergers" which is a rap cut delving into maybe having something on the Autism Spectrum. Another track, "Mini Wheats," is about Adam's often turbulent relationship with food. These and other tracks encapsulate Awreezy's experience with life in an accessible but hopefully not too accessible way. Adam seeks to benefit listeners with a message that is raw and hopeful. Hopefully you will battle and defeat your adversaries too. - Awreezy

Awreezy (Adam Wright) is a wordsmith from High Point, North Carolina. He was born in 1999 and blossomed into one of the Triad's unforeseen wizards on the mic. Most mcs don't understand the talent and technicality of such an artist. Ridden with confusion and early-twenties angst, he gets the kids moving.
Adam makes beautiful musical mirages whose scopes are too kaleidoscopic to grasp. But part of the fun is in trying. It is the journey more than the destination.
