AWOODBEATZ RELEASES DYNAMIC NEW SINGLE, ‘HIGH’ FT. RIO ADAMS

Today, Friday March 3, the independent pop singer and songwriter Awoodbeatz will release his latest studio endeavor, a dynamic new single entitled ‘High.’ The exciting new track features R&B vocalist Rio Adams, and as Awoodbeatz proclaims, will “have everyone throwing their hands high and turning up!” Exuding energy and intensity, ‘High’ is the perfect song to kick off the spring and summer seasons.

Awoodbeatz stepped into the spotlight two years ago after nearly a decade of producing music behind the scenes. Citing eclectic influences the likes of Jay Z, Michael Jackson, 50 Cent, and countless others, he strives to release music that “doesn’t have to be about killing or selling drugs,” but rather, music that provides positivity and good vibrations. “My music will have them dancing and ready to have a good time,” muses Awoodbeatz when discussing his fans.

The performer’s new single was born out of the desire to craft a song that all generations could enjoy and have fun with. Awoodbeatz self-produced the project, and invited Rio Adams to help him write and perform the effort. ‘High’ is infectious as it is lovable, a bombastic soundscape chock-full of danceable melodies and unforgettable hooks.

Beginning today, ‘High’ is available on all major digital music platforms for streaming and download, including iTunes, TIDAL, Amazon, and others. Fans can connect with Awoodbeatz on his official website and social media for continued updates on new releases, live events, and more!

"Awoodbeatz interview"

For this interview, 1 In Music meets Awoodbeatz, an up and coming hip hop/pop artist and actor born and raised in Detroit. The music artist’s goal is to share his own blend of creative and positive vibes with the world, writing music that he feels everyone can relate to.

1InMusic: Thank you for joining us Awoodbeatz for a few questions. Please introduce us first to what is unique about you and your music.

Awoodbeatz (A): What’s unique about me and my music is that it appeals to the young and the old…everybody vibes out to my music. whether you are 10 or 70. My music is not limited to just 1 group or generation…What’s unique about me is that I truly believe that I’m the chosen one and I conduct myself as such. You have to have that confidence and believe in yourself and everything you do. Too many people turn to others for validation, not me. I conduct myself as the greatest, no matter what the next person thinks, from the corny jokes I say, to the motivational speeches I give, I leave a lasting impression on everybody I meet.

1InMusic: What shaped your music?

A: What shaped my music is positive vibes. Nowadays, all you hear is negative vibes in today’s music. I grew up in the hood and that was enough negative vibes for me. I’m on my positive vibe now. When you listen to my music, you gonna want to have a good time and vibe out. I make music for the people that want to dance. I get support from all people, different races, different ages…my music has no barriers.

1InMusic: When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

A: I have been producing beats and writing songs since 2010 but it wasn’t until 2014 that I decided to take this pop music thing seriously as an artist. I truly felt that it was my calling to come from behind the scenes and be an artist. So i released my 1st single 12-13-2014 called “All I got”, and since then, I have been carefully releasing quality music that the fans love and appreciate.

1InMusic: What type of music do you listen to?

A: I listen to all kind of music….it all depends on how I’m feeling at the time. When I’m in the gym, I usually listen to 1980’s stadium music. It gets me pumped. Then if I’m just riding around the city, I’m listening to pop and hip hop.Ii honestly just enjoy listening to all types of music.

1InMusic: Who, to you, is the most undervalued music artist?

A: Honestly, I think I am!!!! haha, but in due time the world will see I’m the chosen one.

1InMusic: How do you prepare for your performances?

A: I prepare by rehearsing everyday before the show. Performing is important to me because you wanna give the fans something to remember.I don’t care if there is one person there, I’m gonna to give that person the show of their life. Right before I perform, I say a prayer and just go out there and give it all I’ve got….

1InMusic: What ignites your (song) writing flow?

A: I produce my own beats so when I’m in the studio and I start making a beat, I begin to come up with song ideas as I go along. Or if I’m somewhere and I think of a nice melody, I record it in my phone and when I get to the studio, I build a beat around the melody and then build the whole song. When I’m writing my main focus is the hook. That’s the bread and butter in my opinion. I go with the dance vibes. I ask myself “do I hear this being in the club and on the radio or playing in the background at a sporting event?” I want to write songs that will last forever. I want to write songs that everybody can dance and feel. Some people call my music mainstream but I call it greatness.

1InMusic: What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

A: I’m usually in the gym working out or playing golf or somewhere motivating people. I’m very passionate about motivating people. If my words can help at least one person get through the day in a positive way, then I’m happy. Outside the studio, I’m usually networking and making things happen in a great way.

1InMusic: Success to you is…

A: If you asked me this a few years ago when I was broke, I would have said “having money” but I was wrong. Success to me means you are happy and you reached your own personal goals no matter how small or big they are.

1InMusic: What do you wish you were told when you started out and that you think would help anyone who starts out?

A: Learn more about the business side of the music industry…spend money on a good lawyer and remember quality is key.

1InMusic: Thank you for answering all our questions. Do you have any upcoming projects you want to share and also can you let us know where we can find your music?

A: I’m currently working on new music and filming a few small acting roles…this year will be a big one and it’s just the beginning. You can find me on Twitter (@awoodbeatz), Facebook, Soundcloud, Instagram, iTunes and Android (search awoodbeatz) and my website www.awoodbeatz.com. Bio

"When the fans come up to me and tell me how much they like my music, that’s the greatest
achievement [to me] -- that lets me know I made the right choice to become an artist.”

Detroit, Michigan, Aaron Rayshoune Wood born August 25, 1985 and raised in Detroit, Mi. the

middle child of 4 to a single Mother. Better known as Awoodbeatz, he is a producer, hiphop/pop artist

and songwriter. He's been producing for a better part of the last decade. However, it wasn't until

roughly three years ago that he decided to emerge from behind the boards, make his name known

on the microphone, and claim his rightful place in the spotlight.

It all started in 2006 when he teamed up with a young friend who had a computer —he purchased a

copy of Fruity Loops, and the two began to tinker and nd their style. “We didn't have a piano, so we

used the computer keyboard; as time went by everybody that heard my beats started telling me I got

talent. Once I came across some real money, I bought new studio equipment. I taught myself and to

play piano and I also studied studio engineering." In 2008, after being in Detroit all his life,

Awoodbeatz decided to move to Atlanta to be closer to the music scene While in Atlanta he broke

his Leg while escaping robbers in his Atlanta home. After a year in Atlanta he moved back to Detroit

to focus on recovering. All while recovering Awoodbeatz continued to focus on producing and

songwriting. In 2014 he decided to write music for himself and prepare to become an pop/hiphop

artist. Musically, his sound can be described as a playful blend of both Mr. 305, Pitbull, and platinum-

selling artist Flo-Rida; he's classi ed as what you would call Pop-Hop. His music is unique and full of

both energy and positive vibes — it’s quite different than many artists coming out of Detroit, mi..

As far as in uences, he [ rst and foremost] credits a slain friend, ‘Bunz,’ for teaching him everything

about recording early on. He also notes Michael Jackson, Daddy Yankee, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and other

artists — and general performers. “Seeing their success and work ethic makes me want to go

[harder].” Unabashedly, he also draws in uence from himself. "Seeing how much I have grown helps

me to stay grinding and go hard [to be great]."

On December 13,2014 he released his energetic debut single call “All I got.” Currently, he has nine

singles released worldwide "All I Got ," “Fiyaa feat. Rio Adams," "Make A Wish," "All Nite Long,” “Girls

Just wanna have fun,” “Bizzy Body,” “Win,” “High feat. Rio Adams” and “Vibes.” On February 8, 2017

he released his first electronic dance music ep. A 5 track project call “Free With RSVP.” As a producer

and songwriter rst , He's busy in the studio working on new projects and committed to releasing

new music on the regular.

He’s striving to show people that [music] doesn’t have to be about killing or selling drugs — especially

when it comes to rap. He doesn't even curse in his music. Ultimately, showing artists and fans that

they can have a very good time while remaining positive. “I want people to be able to say that I

released good music and good vibes. My music will have them dancing — and ready to have a great

time.” He wants to become an icon, a legend, and a mogul. He aims to take over the world.
