About Austin Knocks
I am an independent hip-hop artist and songwriter from Massachusetts. I have been recording and songwriting since 2009, at the age of 12. My music has been featured on WeWantIn hip hop blog , YCN magazine, local newspaper, "Improper Bostonian" and more. I have performed shows with Boston's most popular radio station Jam'n 94.5's Dj Edubble at Nightclubs in Boston and also am involved in a rap cypher series, to be released in July, with artists including Cory Gunz and Hi Rez. I grew up In Quincy, Massachusetts but moved around a lot as a teenager,from Brockton to Boston projects. I put my experience growing up in these areas into my music and try to promote a positive side or provoke thought in others who are dealing with the negative side to growing up in these type of areas.
