Aural Imago has been described as minimal, down tempo, post-rock, dream-pop, etc.. The songs seemingly drift in and out as both the performer and listener are taken to a space of internal projection where imagined interpretations are displayed. The music Aural Imago plays expresses awe, mystery and the myriad of feelings in an individual's life on the human landscapes in constant transformation. The poetic style lyrics further convey this sentiment drawing from reflections of personal experiences and of arcane contemplations.Here is a quote from an Alaskan Photographer: “...taken on a many lands journey of sound with Aural Imago, and Justin Ferguson as the lead. A mixture of pedal loops and with Matt at the synth and backup guitar, each song was a painting of a new landscape.
