Inspired by the Velvet Underground, '70s punk bands such as the Modern Lovers, Talking Heads and the genre-bouncing Clash, and modern garage rock bands such as Parquet Courts and The Oh Sees. Astral Radio is an alternative Rock n' Roll band with a punk edge, a blues base, a jammy sense of exploration, and a willingness to venture into the many dimensions of rock and roll music.
