Bio

Behind a face of pure innocence lies a soulful vocalist and songwriter by the name of Ashley Marie Lewis. A Youngstown, Ohio native, this international recording artist captivates audiences with raw talent, bringing a whole new playing field to the music scene with her unique sound, equipped with Pop, Country, and Hip-Hop vibes, to form the perfect blend for your listening pleasure.

Her experiences and exposure to live audiences include: Performing at the age of seven with Oldies singer, Bobby Vee; Dancing on stage with former Arista recording artists, LFO, at the age of fourteen; and singing the National Anthem at local hockey games, including one for charity, which benefited a player from her hometown team. Ashley has also performed The Star-Spangled Banner at football and basketball games, and boxing matches, including a performance in front of the Canadian National Team. In April of 2013, she performed the Star-Spangled Banner for the Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League's inaugural season home opener in Boyds, Maryland, where they faced U.S. National Team star, Abby Wambach, and the Western New York Flash. In October of 2008, Ashley was one of sixteen finalists who performed in the fourth annual "Youngstown Superstar" competition, held at the Youngstown Playhouse in Youngstown, Ohio. In July of 2009, at the age of twenty-three, Ashley had the opportunity to perform a capella with LFO at Musica in Akron, Ohio.

In early 2010, Ashley was found gracing the stage of the historic Ponderosa Park in Salem, Ohio, where she was the lead vocalist of the Red Garter House Band. Ashley was the last artist to sign her name on the famed backstage wall prior to the park’s closing that same year, alongside the signatures of past and present-day artists such as Charley Pride, Johnny Cash, Reba McEntire, and George Strait.

Soon after, in April of 2010, Ashley recorded her first demo with respected producer and session musician, Buddy Hyatt (Former touring member of Toto), in Nashville, Tennessee. On June 8th 2010, Ashley released her first EP, “Drive”, which quickly became a local success.

Her debut album, "So Much More", which was also recorded in Nashville, was released on August 12th, 2011. Ashley’s album is graced with the presence of Reba McEntire’s steel guitarist, Bruce Bouton; and two of the fourteen tracks on the LP were co-written by keyboardist, Eddie Kilgallon (Bandleader of Montgomery Gentry), and Wil Nance (Co-writer of Brad Paisley's #1 single, "She's Everything").

But music isn't Ashley's only talent. In September of 2014, she was cast in the highly anticipated and widely respected Nike "Together" commercial, featuring NBA phenom, LeBron James. Shortly after, in October of the same year, she was cast in her first major motion picture, "Concussion," produced by Sony and starring Hollywood legend, Will Smith. In November of 2014, she landed a spot in "Cleveland Abduction," a Lifetime movie starring "Orange Is The New Black" lead, Taryn Manning, based on the true story of the three women who were abducted, tortured, and held captive for over a decade in Cleveland, Ohio. In March of 2015, Ashley landed a small role in another major motion picture, "Love The Coopers," starring Olivia Wilde ("House, M.D.") and Jake Lacy ("The Office"). In December of 2015, Ashley filmed a few scenes for the 13th episode of Season 3 of NBC's "Chicago P.D." in Chicago, Illinois. Ashley is also the voice of 'Shaee' in the new motion comic series, "Galaxy Starz."
