Bio
Ashlea grew up on the island of Abaco in The Bahamas with her parents and three siblings. She moved to the United States to pursue an education and after years of study became a college professor. After years of teaching, she decided to pursue her passion for marketing and writing and started to work from home. She is currently writing a series called Pridelands and writing country music. Do You Think I'm Like A Truck is her debut single off her upcoming album, Hoodies and Cowboy Boots set for release in late 2020. Ashlea has two dogs (Lex and Sheba) and two cats (Minerva and Malcolm). Minerva is pregnant so wish us luck. Ashlea's style is contemporary country with pop elements and she writes her own songs. She is currently taking guitar and piano lessons to help improve her craft.
Vision Statement: Ashlea Annya seeks to create relatable, catchy and innovative songs about love and the highs and lows of the adulthood journey in and out of relationships.
Mission Statement: Ashlea Annya is a singer songwriter that uses a modern country sound with elements of soft rock and pop to tell stories about the highs and lows of romantic relationships. Her music is about people who despite their best intentions make mistakes, but later grow and experience self discovery about what they will tolerate and demand in the name of love.
