Apostle Wendell Archie & Gods Chosen

Since 1974, Wendell Archie has been consistently preaching the pure Word of God and singing inspiring gospel music. He preached in prisons, prayed on street corners and sung under tents. He was told by some that he could not sing but refused to stop developing, knowing that with faith in God, he could do anything for the Kingdom. Wendell Archie began with only eight church members, yet he firmly believed that God would make his ministry worldwide. He withstood much opposition because his message of hope in word and song were harmonious with the bible rather than in accordance with popular beliefs or religious fads. Many thought that he would not last. They anticipated his failure. Nonetheless, God equipped him even more with sound teaching and great endurance regardless of naysayers! Murderers, drug dealers, drug addicts, prostitutes, school dropouts, atheists, suicidal people and so many more have been converted through his preaching!  Now, more than 40 years later, Wendell Archie is the chief apostle over eight successful churches that follow the same word of Christ that was thought to fail. Through much sweat, many prayers and tears, the world is now able to hear the rare sound of his untainted Christian message through various mediums including television, radio, internet and several social media platforms! Hundreds in the U.S. and other countries such as Russia and Africa seek a connection with his ministry and to purchase his messages and albums! 

Through his determination to develop as a singer for the Lord, God anointed his voice with a heartfelt and effective sound that blesses the hearers. His songs and stage presence command attention with love and a compelling passion. He sings amazingly as if in personal conversation with the audience. He knows that his songs have a message of hope and he purposes to convey that to all who will listen. Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Apostle Archie’s purpose is not to draw any attention to himself but rather to teach and admonish people to obey and trust Jesusthrough his singing. Many cry, dance, become enlightened and uplifted after engaging in praise and worship with him. 

Apostle Archie and his group have sung in several places in the world such as Jamaica, Detroit, North Carolina, Atlanta and New Orleans. He has been a guest on the Bobby Jones show and even won an award on Star Search. He has been a host several times on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), interviewing renown ministers. He has two albums, manages a recording choir (Refuge Temple Deliverance Choir), manages two powerful singing groups (W.O.W. and Souled Out), and is responsible for several gifted praise teams throughout his established churches. His 2018 latest album release entitled “Camp Meeting Live” has already captivated the hearts of many. This humility-infused album is very unique in that it effectively conveys the power and benefits of bearing our cross for Christ by enduring to the end!
