Born of Peruvian descent in Northern Virginia, Alvarado has found a calmer artistic niche despite the chaos often associated with both the area and the circumstances he has found himself in.

Courage has been best described as telling the truth of who you are with your whole heart. We are all truth-tellers. Yet, few have so boldly and masterfully harnessed the task like Anthony Alvarado. Gentle acoustic tones are bolstered in a powerful proclamation of paradoxical bookends of both death and life. Alvarado’s voice drips of a deep yearning, one that feels familiar even to the estranged listener as it speaks directly to the heart. 

A culmination of three year’s work could hardly speak to the weight of Still. In lieu of the passing of his father, Nilthon Alvarado, Still became a dream clawed into reality. Through immense heart and hard work, clasping hands and walking through what it means to truly preserve a memory, Still took on skin and bones. Alvarado bares a desire to soak his hands into future and triumph from the descent, cleansed by living water, never discounting what rendered him messy. 

Constantly moving forward, Alvarado’s work in telling this story is far from finished.
