Amy Kucharik released her debut full-length CD in July, with tunes inspired by vintage jazz/blue in the vein of the Asylum Street Spankers, with playfully snarky lyrics reminiscent of the Lake Street Dive and vocals that recall Lena Horne or Maria Muldaur. She has shared bills with fellow ukulele-playing songwriter Danielle Ate the Sandwich, Dan Blakeslee (who has played at Twisted Branch), and Greg Klyma. She has performed in Boston, and throughout New England and the midwest, as well as southern US.
