Alone In The Crowd

Jordan McDuff has lived in Atlanta most of his life and has always been musically inclined. Being a drummer by age 8 and guitar player by 10, he picked up music very quickly. Growing up his main influences was a range of Toby Mac, Skillet, As I Lay Dying, Cross Movement, Lamb Of God, Drake and Eminem. He loved the diverseness of music and matured on listening to Jazz, and more complex musical groups. There's not a single day where he doesn't listen to any sort of music. Jordan developed Alone In The Crowd as a childhood dream. At the age of 8 or below a childhood friend named Josh Cook came up with the name and passed it along as the first failure to start a true band. 

With many things in line to be successful, Rap was not the idea that he had but felt God give him the lyrics and the ability considering the culture of the music. Jordan wrote for about 2 years developing his skills as a DJ and Rapper not only to include his father as the Alone In The Crowd's drummer but also his younger brother Brandon McDuff who plays piano for him from time to time (who is also an established Musician who should have a shout out but this is my page so go away Brandon... love you!). 

Jordan Started by covering the song 0 to 100 by Drake and ended up writing what is today Me vz. Me (Part One). It was a song from the devil's perspective trying to lure Jordan to his sinful nature, and is followed by Part 2 which is the very human emotion of failing and trying to pick himself up. Ending in Part 3 which comes from God's perspective telling Jordan the truth of himself and bringing and calling him to his true purpose in life. 

Jordan also owns his own podcast and website which is dedicated to hosting his music and his ministry. He is undoubtibly Christian who struggled with being human just as much as any other person, but continues to work and press through the struggle and see God for who he really is. Jordan's music is meant to bring joy and love to a dying culture. "If I can bring a smile to someone's face, and let them know they are loved... that's all I need"
