Today we’d like to introduce you to Aliza Ford.
Aliza, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My story starts with my love for music ever since I can remember. I was born in 1995 Bedford, TX hospital. I’d like to take yall through the Ages. Age 5 I wanted to learn how to play guitar and from my dad who was in a metal band back in the day. I grew up on Bands like Metallica, Ozzy, Pantera, etc. My mom and dad always played country music around me as well such as Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Even the legends but as a kid and “pre-teen” years I didn’t really like country music. By age 10, I’ve gotten really serious about playing guitar and writing small songs here and there. In my high school days, I had a heavy metal band called “Envenom” we had long hair and wore leather jackets and always up to no good ha! I was vocals and played lead guitar, did most the writing and music for all our songs. By age 16, I wrote my first Country song Whiskey Morning while I listening to old Country such as George Jones, Hank sr, and Johnny Cash more and more getting great inspiration.
Age 18 for my birthday my parents took me to Memphis Tennessee and I sand a three song demos of all my originals songs in the legendary Sun Records where Elvis recorded at and many more. My dad [Chance Ford] and mom[Shawn Ford] Supported me 100 percent all the way and believed in my dream which is still kicking till this day. Age 19 I had a job framing and remodeling houses carpentry work which I still do today alongside my dad who taught me everything. By age 20, I started going out and doing live shows under the wing of Billy Robert’s, getting me familiar with the Texas music scene and introducing me to a lot of connections. By that time, I had my first album “Keep Going” which hit 81 on Texas Regional charts independently by Billy Robert’s and his team Double R Records. I’m 24 years old Turing 25 this year in 2020 my goal for this year is to keep doing what I’m doing, release my 2nd album in March which is happening regardless! But in all honesty my goal is to be the best and fill the shoes of my idols as I mentioned before. Johnny Cash, Hank Sr, George Jones…I now know my calling on this earth and I will succeed! Please support your local musician or any business!
Has it been a smooth road?
Nobody has it easy and I salute every musician and everyone in general trying to be successful. This business is definitely cutthroat with it’s up and downs. I’ve had a lot of let downs along the way, hoping that I’m one step closer to getting my big break but I don’t dwell on the let downs and struggles any longer. I put it in my songs I write and keep going!
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m a musician/Carpenter. The main job I have is being a Carpenter helping my dad [Chance Ford] we can literally build anything by the way! I’m known for my music. Have actually been on a TV show that kind of boosted my career path in a way called Texas Flip n Move on the DIY channel. Under “Aliza Ford party bus”. That is definitely another highlight and proud moment. What sets me apart is my style of music I would say and personally.

Bio
Aliza Ford is a 28-year-old Country Singer, songwriter, and musician from Fort Worth, Texas.
At five years old, Aliza's father, Chance Ford, bought him a drumset for Christmas because he eventually wanted a drummer for his band. Right away his parents knew he had musical potential because he could already keep time. The drums were too loud for the apartments they lived in so Aliza gravitated to the guitar instead.
At about age 10, Aliza began to get serious about the guitar. His dad started teaching him everything he knew about heavy metal. In high school, Aliza and his friends formed a garage band called Envenom. The band entered their school's talent show with Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and they took first place. A year later, at age 16, Aliza began developing a new passion for country music. He took the skills his dad taught him about songwriting and he started writing country music like his influences such as Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Senior, George Jones, and Elvis Presley.
Over the years, Aliza has developed his own unique sound. When you hear his music you know for a fact its an Aliza Ford song.
Aliza is currently working full time as a carpenter but he has definitely found that his passion in life is singing and playing his music for the world, giving glory to God that he now knows his purpose in life.
