Los Angeles, CA, August 8, 2012 — Alive By Sunrise will be featured on the upcoming Compilation, “Indie Anthems”. The compilation, which is produced by the WiFiPR Group to showcase new artists they have recently signed to their client roster, will come out as digital release only and be distributed at upcoming music festivals and industry events including CMJ.
Amazingly the young group is off to a great start as the producer for the album “Alive By Sunrise” was Grammy Award winning Drummer and producer Brady Blade. Brady has worked with Emmylou Harris, Dave Mathews, Indigo Girls, and many more. Brady had this to say about Alive By Sunrise, “Cameron and Alive By Sunrise is a great talented young band that I am proud to have produced. Combined with talent and a drive to succeed, Cameron leading the way with a sincere smile and hard work behind his boyish smile is headed for the stars. “Satisfy” is a single that came to life at Blade Studios and is a highlight from my perspective as a producer. My friends in the industry have already placed ABS on their “TO WATCH” list.
Alive By Sunrise has found friendship and some guidance from national acts such as SameState, Vedera, Bulding429, The Fray and others. Cameron had this to say about meeting the Fray, “Getting to spend time with people like The Fray has inspired me as a performer and as a person. Isaac Slade is my hero and being able to watch him and The Fray, learn from him, and talk to him has really influenced and elevated our music”.
Alive by Sunrise is currently touring on The Extreme Tour with dates through August 11th. Bio
Formed in the mid 2000s, Alive by Sunrise started as an acoustic duo playing in coffee shops and leading worship at multiple churches. Soon the band grew to 6 members and was offered deals with Tate music and several other independent labels. After many meetings the band felt that it was better to wait for another door to open later down the road. About a year later with over 200 songs written and numerous shows under their belt the band found them-selves working with Blade Studios. With Producer Brady Blade taking the band under his wing the band recorded their debut studio album at Blade Studios. With the help and direction of the staff and Brady the band has turned into a young power house looking for an open door to express their potential. With varied members from different religious backgrounds, ABS brings forth the message of Jesus Christ and his Love to a dying world, with fresh, invigorating beats, new lyrics full of promise and hope, and a screaming love for Christ evident in all that they do. The guys in ABS are an example to the world that Gods love goes on even through our failures and past mistakes. With a Vocal-lyrical sound similar to The Fray, and Switchfoot, with musical capabilities falling as melodious as The Fray, and as hard and upbeat as Red. This is a band, and a sound you do not want to miss.
