Alia Zin’s origins are hard to pinpoint, as she refers to herself even as a Gypsy, having moved back and forth so much between Oregon, California, Hawaii & Nevada. One can imagine how difficult having to adapt to so many different environments could be, or what affect that may have on the psyche of a child, but it all seems a bit ironic as Alia Zin’s stream of consciousness flows just as she’s traveled through the journeys in her own life thus far, swift and unapologetically. Maybe these moves and the experiences coupled with them are to blame for her uncanny ability to string together words, melodies and metaphors, or maybe moreso for her niche, illustrating situations so vividly with words that it feels as if she’s narrating a motion picture. 

At 21, there’s plenty of time for Zin to truly come into her own and we have front row seats for her development. Alia has always had her foot one step in and one step out of the industry, having had random opportunities come her way such as connecting with Hip-Hop legend D.O.C. in her humble beginnings, blessing an AB-Soul track & headlining packed out shows with completely unreleased material. Moving to Oregon, she almost quit to pursue a college degree in History but shortly decided that music was what she was born to do and relocated to Long Beach, where she is now hard at work with LA based production team “Pakk Music Group” to properly introduce herself to the world with her debut album “Wiccan”, expected to arrive to all digital outlets Halloween 2016.
