ROCK BAND ALEVELA RISES ONTO THE MUSIC SCENE
(New York, NY – October 28, 2013) – Rising up into the music scene rock band Alevela,
whose name actually means to rise above, has certainly earned their place in the music
world after a long time coming. Growing up together, the guys played in several other
bands before coming together as Alevela. With the sonic landscape of heavy ambient rock
mixed in with gritty vocals, Alevela definitely stands out on their own. From the intense,
heart-racing beats of their first single, “The Madness,” to the high-energy anthem in their
latest single, “Invincible,” Alevela is soon to be taking over the rock world.
Carrying the likes of 90s rock through their music, it’s no wonder why Nirvana, Metallica,
and Bush quickly became some of their biggest influences. “The Madness” speaks to
this with the gritty vocals of Jerod Farnes that some would stylistically resemble Gavin
Rossdale. Strewn in with heavy drum beats and intense guitar riffs, Alevela knows how to
get a crowd amped. Their newest single, “Invincible” shows a bit more of their lighter side,
starting off with a softer vocal and working up to the full grunge amplified rock sound. The
band plans to release “Invincible” along with a music video in late November. Following up
on the single, Alevela’s long awaited debut album will release this December.
After many ups and downs and several attempts at different bands, Alevela couldn’t
be more excited to finally be releasing their debut album. Farnes states: "There is a
song on the record called "Only the Strong". It pretty much describes the thick skin and
determination we have. Only the strong can go through what we have gone through and
still hold our heads up high and be just as fired up about this music as the day we started."
Alevela will soon be releasing a cover of U2’s “With or Without You.”

Bio
Leading their new path is their new single entitled "The Madness". Followed by the ever strong "Into The Depths"
The Madness has a sound fit for the arena. With a Def Leopard-esque, stadium rock sonic quality layered with a gritty and grunge style vocal. The Madness will be sure to drive its point home.
Their follow up single entitled "Into The Depths" will display a slightly different side of the bands sound. Into The Depths is a 'throw your hands in the air' sing-a-long, showing polish and versatility. This undeniable anthem can easily come off as inspiring, rock like tempo, and feel good. But, is exactly the opposite. Front man Jerod Farnes describes the meaning of the song "as sort of a downer. Haha! When your young and reckless you truly feel invincible. Then it hit me, I wasn't the person that was gonna live forever. So, it's just excepting that yes...I'm mortal and I'm going to die someday..., Laughs Jerod. Seems elementary, but to me, it is a hard pill to swallow."
With Into The Depths released from their upcoming debut LP and The Madness music video out, big things to come from ALEVELA.
"For the first time ever, I feel so confident about this record and where the band is at mentally right now., Says Jerod. We are in the drivers seat and in control and I truly feel that anything is possible."
Also a cover song by the legendary band U2. "We're gonna keep the song title a secret as long as we can", Explains Jerod. "We've never really been into doing covers but we felt really strong about this song. I feel we did it justice and made it our own. When I listen to it I don't even think 'U2', I think, ALEVELA.
'ALEVELA's debut album titled "Invincible" released Spring of 2014 is sure to bring rock back from the dead.
With a history together that already has spanned the better part of 15 years,
with so many ups and downs,
most would have thrown in the towel.
Most probably have.
"There is a song on the record called "Only the Strong". It pretty much describes the thick skin and determination we have. Only the strong can go through what we have gone through and still hold our heads up high and be just as fired up about this music as the day we started." Says Jerod.
"And to think.......this is only the beginning."
