Bio
Airport Way music has been likened by audiences and fans to Sublime, The Police, Men at Work, Cold War Kids, Groundnation, Fugazi, and Maroon 5.
Airport Way the band is a mixture of fellowship and leadership. As individuals we represent teachers, photographers, UX designers, and the world of Information Technology. Those personal life pathways influence the fellowship of the band, whether meeting NAS and Chris Webber while playing the EMU festival in Snowmass, Colorado, playing a few tunes for Colin Hay or Amanda Knox at the Musiquarium Lounge in downtown Seattle, or getting in a few private performances throughout the state of Washington. Professionalism on behalf of ourselves within Airport Way and within the myriad labels chosen and assigned to us as individual human beings, the fellowship and leadership of Airport Way encourages the mantras "do unto others" and "be a good person" to promote the positivity of our differences.
Airport Way is Electropositive. Electropositive refers to the human experience as a whole. Humans are complex beings constructed of atoms. Our atoms engage with the world around us passively or directly and from that process we gain (receive) or lose (let go), which in turn replaces our neutrality with negativity or positivity that is both relative and universal. Our music, we affectionately refer to as Island Rock, hopefully evokes life’s gains and losses in a way that contributes to your human experience and inspires you to engage with the relative and universal elements of our solitary and shared life experiences.
