Bio
Ahmad Anonymous, hailing from Stone Mountain, GA started falling in love with music while singing themes from old anime’s and ps2 video games and most Importantly while listening to classic RnB and hip-hop from his parents and older cousins. He would always listen closely and often would attempt to hum and rap the complex rhythms and melodies he heard in his youth. During these years of his early life he always amazed his peers on the ways he manipulated his voice. His early life in Stone Mountain would shift once his father got offered a job to work out of the country in Gothenburg, Sweden. The move was rough on him because the culture barrier was steep and he would have to try and adapt as best as he could. Unfortunately, he couldn’t adapt to the Swedish culture easily. So instead of adapting he buried himself within the internet, specifical music on YouTube. It was his escape from the trouble he went throughout of the country. This trend would carry on once his family moved back to the United States to take care of his bed sickened grandmother residing in Gwinnett county. He was confused about the whole ordeal so finding music on YouTube was a means of escape from the harsh truths. He would search for hours on YouTube for old hip-hop and RnB from the late 80’s to the 2010s. A true music connoisseur, studying how different artists form flows, punchlines, and melodies. He was inspired by artists like Busta Rhymes, A tribe called quest, MF doom, Madlib, Tyler the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Joey Badass, Kendrick Lamar, ASAP Rocky, Nujabes, Redman, Nas, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill and so much more. This love for good music led him to join the marching band as a member of the drumline. During this time he mainly kept to himself and his small circle of other musicians and creatives which often led to numerous freestyle sessions at school, the bus, and in his basement. Eventually, he started making music with his friends on SoundCloud in 2016 under the rap name Ahmad Anonymous, which comes from his middle name Ahmad and his feeling of being unknown to the rest of the world. He would continue to make hip-hop music up until college at Georgia State University, where he truly started making a bigger name for himself still under the rap name Ahmad Anonymous. He would make numerous songs the chill “Good Evening” or the bar filled “Find It” and a multitude of loose verses on his social media. He performs in and around Atlanta whenever the opportunity is available and continues to reach new heights with his consistency and hard
